An entrepreneur in its truest form, Greenseen Founder and President Roy Desselle began starting landscape businesses in the 1980’s while studying Economics and Finance at the University of Texas at Austin. He founded University Tree Service which provided tree installation and maintenance services in the Austin area. Roy then went on to partner with Sun Landscape in the late 1980s where he managed several million-dollar, large-scale landscape construction projects such as the landscape development of the Saltgrass Steakhouse chains, Lupe Tortilla chains, several multifamily developments and car dealerships across the Greater Houston area.

Roy graduated Suma Cum Laude from Texas Tech University and then went on to found Greenseen Landscape in 1997. With ample experience in commercial landscape construction, he began winning contracts with several nationwide commercial developers, many of which he still works with to this day. His early love for trees never died and in 2015, Roy purchased 33 acres off I-10 West in Harwood, Texas and opened a wholesale and retail tree nursery. The Tree Depot is licensed with the Texas Department of Agriculture and fully staffed with a tree care team and a sales team that provides on-site sales, delivery and installation.

With over 30 years in the landscape business, Roy prides himself most in his long lasting client relationships and trust.

Norma Bueno, Greenseen Vice President of Operations, has over 15 years of experience in the landscape and horticulture industries. Norma joined Greenseen in 2005 to assist in project bids and office operations. Her role quickly grew and she now handles all office operations, project bids and estimates, as well as purchase orders. Prior to joining Greenseen in late 2005, Norma worked for TruGreen, a lawn care product and service company.

Joey Battle joined Greenseen in late 2018 as a Project Manager with a background in plants, art and design. Prior to Greenseen, Joey studied studio art and design at Houston Community College where he learned many foundational principles of blending colors, textures and natural elements. With a passion for plants, Joey began germinating seeds and propagating plants while in college. He has a unique love for succulents and native Texas plant species and enjoys incorporating these elements to create outstanding plant beds and designs.

Joey manages several Greenseen projects across the Greater Houston area, and also provides immaculate landscape drawings and AutoCAD renderings of landscape areas.

Isaias Moha joined Greenseen in 2002 as a Project Manager with an accomplished hardscape background. Prior to Greenseen, he managed multifamily installation projects for a prominent pool and patio company in Houston. His attention to detail and precision is one of his many skills that make him successful in installing with hardscape elements such as natural stones, rock, concrete and pavers. With over 20 years with Greenseen, Isaias has installed thousands of immaculate fire pits, courtyards, patios, stone walls, and more.

Isaias manages turnkey projects for Greenseen all over Texas.
